This standard applies to asbestos fibrated liquid coal tar pitch materials in the form of aqueous emulsion of the mineral colloid type for use as sprayed or brush-on coatings for built-up roofs and other roof surfaces, including flashing, and for dampproofing and waterproofing concrete or masonry surfaces.
